This entire project is dedicated in Loving Memory of Annie N. Thorogood, an amazing person, musician and mother who was taken too early by MS.
Indaba Love can be purchased directly and downloaded instantly from our Indaba Music Store and also at iTunes The entire band has agreed to donate 100% of all proceeds, which are being donated directly to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, NMSS. A huge thanks to Pamela Monk at NMSS who helped make this fundraiser possible and smooth for us.
Donations will be fairly divided to different areas of researching and treating MS, from Upstate New York where 12,000 people battle MS daily, and throughout the entire United States. The funds raised will help put a dent in MS, and help those afflicted to live better lives, in all areas.
The song and video are also dedicated to Magdalena Obert, a very active Bianda band member. A strong woman who is challenged daily by Multiple Sclerosis, Maggie fights it with everything she's got - this while
helping others cope with the disease. She creates beautiful music that touches the hearts of those who are lucky enough to know her!
Bianda is a band that is always is changing it up, when it comes to genres and collaborating artists to work with. We employ a solid rule which every member upholds. When we produce music as a band, release and sell it on iTunes, Amazon, Indaba Music or anywhere, we always donate at least half of all net proceeds from the project, sometimes more. This fundraiser gets every penny of it. We are honored as a band and as individuals, to be able to use our talents to help a cause close to all of our hearts.
About Indaba Love & Bianda
Bianda Proudly Present the 2011 Collab & Conquer MS Fundraiser!
Today is the official release of our first single as a band. It's called 'Indaba Love' and is dedicated to Indaba Music, a community like no other on earth.
Annie's original and beautiful music is featured in our video below...
Indaba Love is a place where magic and healing truly happen. A place where talented musicians gather from around the world
to donate their time and great talents. They each give their heart and soul to help make this world a better place, especially for those in need.
Some of the band members themselves suffer from life-long disabilities, they find peace, healing, and happiness through music and helping others.
Peace, Love & Light
